I want to sort by Date Purchased. The reason is that I'll sometimes buy a book when I don't have time to read it, then maybe a week later when I have time I want to look at what I bought recently, but by that time I can't remember what I bought
I personally don't use it, but a workaround would be to tag new books with like mytag:Bought2024-02-09 . I would definitely recommend using that date format, as it will allow for proper sorting. Additional topic: If you tag all items in the library with something (I use mytag:mystuff for all books I bought, and e.g. mytag:myLogosMax for the books and courses coming through the subscription) then the "last updated" view will become much more helpful, as you can easily differentiate between books you owned already that got updated to fix typos or whatever and those books you actually got recently (including PrePubs that shipped so they just appear in the library without any active buying).
